Hi Stephen. As I recall, this was a fairly loose 9x12 sketch, mostly palette knife.

I know this church well. I've photographed it twice. Inside and out. It's in Yeso, NM .. not the TX panhandle. I live in the TX panhandle. Beautiful painting though.

Hi Ashley. You're correct of course. I was fudging a little, frontloading for the search key words, i.e., 'Texas' and 'Panhandle' vs. 'Yeso'. Looking for that Larry McMurtry crowd, so I'm moving the town to TX. I really like your photos too.
